Sorry, My fault. I didn't specify why I provided this list in the first place. It is rumored that Dario Aregento's "Phenomena" and "Tenebre" WILL hit DVD once again this year but apparently, They are not. I recently bought a few of the anchorbay OOP Blue Underground re-issues. To name a few, "Inferno", "Deep Red", "Deathdream", "Don't Torture Duckling"....... They all came with this catalog I wrote up. The catalog did not include "Phenomena" nor "Tenebre.

New releases for Phenomena and Tenebre are coming sooner rather than later. If not the end of 2007, then most likely in the first part of 2008. That catalog you posted has none of the future Blue Underground releases such as The Stendhal Syndrome and their re-issues of Opera and Suspiria.

True

You are absolutely right. There are are a few movies that are not within this catalog. I suppose you are right about "Tenebre" and "Phenomena" being Re-issued late 07 early 08. Those two movies are gems and I'm sure Blue Underground will not let them slip by.

I'm not sure if this is the best thread to ask, but does anybody know a good place for checking if the Blue Underground versions of previously released Anchor Bay titles are remastered or not?

For instance, I have the Anchor Bay version of "Mountain Of The Cannibal God", but Blue Underground has just rereleased it. I heard that their version of Suspiria was better. And so on....

Not really, but a good rule of thumb is if the disc is exactly the same as the AB one, then it's just that - the same. The only titles BU seems to remaster are those they're giving new SE's to, like The Living Dead at Manchester Morgue aka Let Sleeping Corpses Lie.

I have a question, are blue underground movies only available through their site? Because when I looked up those movies on other sites they either say that they're from another studio or are out of print.

I've bought many a Blue Underground movie from other sites or at a store. Did you try xploitedcinema or diabolikdvd?

Well, Anchor Bay released a bunch of these previously, most of which are now out of print. That's why I posted my question.

Maybe Blue Underground uses a distributor for their releases and the movies are showing up under that distributor.

"Severin" releases sometimes show up under "Rhino" or "Warner Home Video", depending on the web-site.

Ryko distributes Blue Underground. Wish they'd put out some more Midnight Blue discs- the vintage commercials on those are priceless!
