Hopefully I'll be able to buy the BD disc. I'm thinking this Christmas season will be the time to get my HD &/or BD dvd player(s).

Just got rid of the first one because I figured that they'd be some sort of a box set released containingall 3 movies. I'll hold and see what happens I think

I'll get this, but man, was it exhausting! I was ready for it to be over before it had even arrived at the final battle. Not going to bother with any boxed set. If more films are to come, as has been suggested, I don't want a boxed set of only some.

I loved the first movie, but I've never seen the second or third. Are they worth watching? Or is it like the Matrix, where it is better to stop after the first one and not bother with the sequels.

Guess it all depends on the individual. As for me, I liked the first two movies (even preferred Dead Man's Chest), but the third film was a bit of a let-down.

Thing is, though, the first movie is pretty much a complete story in its own right. Once you watch Dead Man's Chest, you're left hanging, and would need to watch At World's End to finish up the story.

now that you said that.. it makes me wonder...
I have never received an e-mail from fye.com before..
the only times they have ever had my info was from their P.O.S. rebates that always get declined.. I've only tried 3, the last one was Serenity I think..

I hadn't seen the artwork floating around before, but I was updating my collection in DVD Profiler and noticed there was a high-res image available:

I like it better than 1 & 2...

Ugh, that looks like shit. Not nearly as good as the 1st one and not even as good as part 2.

Eh, could be worse. Could be better, too.

I like the look of Jack Sparrow, and his placement with the title is good. The sea battle at the bottom kind of works, but the vortex should be more prominent, and the waterfall makes no sense. There was none in that scene. The upper half could use a slight redesign.

I liked it because of the colour choice and that cast has a painted-quality to them. Much better than the usual photoshopped mash together that you usually see.

I'll waste money on the DVD just to complete the trilogy.

2 discer for sure but the cover art isn't as good as the first or second. Too much blue and the scene at the bottom didn't even happen in the movie.

there is no goddamn way that is the actual cover.
It just cannot possibly be so. its gotta be for promotional purposes of something.
This "cover art" looks like a box of those movie related valentine day cards kids pass out at school.

horrible cover. and i hope that movie rewards logo is in the form of a removable sticker. whoever approves these covers has absolutely no taste.
