"now showing" dvd display stand...
i'm not sure where on the site to post this, i've seen numerous of our members have something similar to these in the "i wanna see your collection and ht" thread and would really like to get one. i did a google search and found this one, and i'm thinking about getting it, but was hoping to find something a little cheaper.

thanks.

I made my own using those mini-easels you can get at Ikea. I painted it black and made a "Now Showing" sticker with a P-Touch.
Worked like a charm.
Total package was like 3 or 4 bucks.

I've been using these for years. At $0.99 they can't be beat. I use one to display my "now showing" DVD and 2-3 others on the shelves to display my current treasures. I never thought about painting them black, I may try that (or dark red).

My "Now Showing" sign was printed in large Broadway font on photo paper glued to a small piece of cardboard. It's reversible and the other side says "Coming Soon" for between movies.
The most expensive part of this project was the paint, which I spent $2 on.

Yeah, those easels kick ass. I spent more on a can of paint and some gloss than the easel itself. Great way to go!

I like this alot...especially with the Broadway font. Do you have a close-up?

I just got an $80 a week raise and decided to splurge on the light up stand since my girlfriend likes it and will go well with our red color motiff for our home theatre. It will arrive on Tuesday. Hope it was worth the $$$ or its going right back.

Got the new display stand last night. Need to take pics still. It is okay, it definitely isnt the best thing in the world but not the worst. My GF loves it but i think its just a little too much. Definitely looks better w/ a black backing on it instead of being see thru.
