i was about to order Dog Soldiers from Amazon when i saw Aspect Ratio: 1.33:1, anyone knows if this is a mistake or does the DVD only come in Full Screen?

The dvd contains a 16x9 widescreen and a fullscreen version on the disc. It's just another case of Amazon listing incomplete/erroneous info.

I don't know why, but this is one of my favorite horror movies. If you haven't seen it you are in for a treat.

I'm with you, guys! And after The Descent I'm waiting for the next Neil Marshall movie with my fingers crossed.

I also love this movie. Anyone know if the recent release has any 'new' stuff on it? I already have the Fox(?) release from '03.

Has anyone seen the new cover art for this movie?

I saw it at Target the other day. It's different than the two different covers shown on Amazon. It looks absolutely awful. The wolves look like they put a baboon's head on the body of a bear.

Are you referring to one with the laser sights pointing at the (incredibly badly drawn) werewolves? Ugh, yeah, that was the cover they had at Circuit City when I got it last year. The cashier actually laughed at me when she saw it. I've been looking for a picture of it online just to show people how hilariously awful it is, but I haven't been able to find it.

Is this new R1 release that Amazon is showing the same as the older R1 releases just with different art, or does it have any of the R2 extras?

sb5 - That is the one! Heh, I remember thinking how stupid of them it was to change out the art. It's almost like they're challenging people to buy the movie.

"Go on, but it, I dare you...but you'll be sorry!"

Strange, since the movie is actually good.
