Yes! Nice that Sony didn't wait 900 years & finally release the final season of one of my favorite "Studio Audience" sitcoms of all-time.
The 9th (final) season of The King of Queens is a short 13 episode season with a double length *Series finale*.

GREAT news!
Favorite sitcom of mine, good we won't have to wait long for the final season. I haven't seen any of the 9th season, so this should be a treat.
Here's to hoping there's also a cast commentary on the finale, and any curtain calls the cast made when the show aired on CBS.

the only time they sort of catered to fans who purchased the seasons earlier was with "friends." there was that offer to send away where you could buy that large collector's box that came with the all-seasons packaging. so in the end, you got the packaging a complete-series-packaging customer would get. of course, then a year later they re-released the complete series in that red box thing they have out now. sigh.
i'm going to be especially upset if the KOQ complete series is housed in a cool IPS truck! that seems the likely packaging, if they actually put effort into the release, right?

Making it another 3 disc set would have been nicer, cause then the 3rd disc could have had a bunch of extras on it that would make up for all the other KOQ's sets that had minimal/none extra features.
They could have included a "Behind the Scenes" look at the final episode & maybe a commentary for the 2 part-1 hour series finale, "China Syndrome" -Parts 1 & 2.
the 1st Season set had a few decent extras & the 2nd Season set had less extras but I liked the "Kevin James: A Day in the Life of an International Superstar" bonus feature alot & I wish more TOD titles had extras like that.
Oh, well hopefully if they do release a "Complete Series" set, they will release a special Bonus King of Queens DVD set that includes all of the extras that might me on the "Complete Series" set like they did with the M*A*S*H: Martinis & Medicine DVD set.
