For about $21 w/ my discount (and cheaper if it's on sale), I'll blind buy it.

For those blind buying, I highly doubt you'll use the guarantee. It's one of the best shows out right now--and seeing it on DVD, episodes back-to-back, will probably even make it more enjoyable.

I wonder what music has been replaced. My set just came from UPS and I won't get a chance to watch it for a couple days.

This poster compiled a list of the aired music that you can use it to compare as your watching. I'm sure they'll list the music they used as a replacement in the end credits.

I'm hoping that they only had to replace the more expensive popular songs, and were able to keep the cooler indie songs intact. Further, maybe they replaced the popular songs with more indie music which can be a lot cheaper to license. As long as they don't lose "Eyes"...

For those that buying this you want to consider the $5 off $25 Target coupon floating around the bargain thread. You can get this set and then get one of the $5.50 discs they have for essentialy free.

I noticed the other day over at TVShowsonDVD.com they mentioned that there was going to be a change of cover art. In the left hand middle box, instead of the guy and girl kissing, it was going to be a pic of the smart blonde guy. But today in the mail the cover I got has the couple kissing. I was just wondering if this was the version everyone got or if indeed the cover was changed in some areas.

No, it's still the guy and girl kissing... at least on mine.

Whoa!!! They replaced music? Why!!???
I understand when old shows like WKRP must replace music because they didn't secure the music rights all those years ago. I understand, but I still don't buy them.
However, in this day and age when even shows that don't last a full year get a DVD release, how the hell does any show FAIL to secure music rights?

Glad to see people taking a chance and blind buying the show. Loved every second of the show when it originally aired. I picked up the set and it was fun to see the first few episodes knowing where some of these characters would end up.

With the super cheap price and the money back guarantee, it would seem like a no brainer. I'm curious to see if anybody tries to get their money back with the guarantee.

Watched the first three episodes last night and absolutely loved it! Was very skeptical about enjoying the show not really being much of a sports fan, but am loving the dynamics of the characters and even getting pumped up by the football. Can't wait to finish the season!

FUCK! fuck fuck fuck!

My favorite music cue of the whole show (Rogue Wave's Eyes) has been replaced by some non-descript instrumental track. If I could've picked just ONE song to stay, that would've been it. Shit, I'm so pissed right now. I bet they left that song on the Heroes dvds, which didn't use it nearly as effectively as FNL did.

You know, when this show started airing, I had zero interest. Then I started hearing good things, but the season was too far gone for me to get into it. I happily blind bought this earlier at Best Buy, and can't wait to dig into it this weekend. Hopefully it will be worth it. Regardless, I have to hand it to a company for lowering the price to get people interested (wish it would happen more often).

And for fans of the show, I apologize if this has been addressed elsewhere, but when does the 2nd season begin? I'm hoping if I end up liking the show I'll have time to finish the 1st beforehand.

Well I am starting the second disc this morning, and everyone here is right it really is a great show. I would have started watching it during the summer, but NBC pulled reruns off of sunday night. I will be tuning in as well when season two starts in October.

So is this something a fan of Six Feet Under, The Wire, Rescue Me, Weeds, and other high-end dramas would enjoy? I'm not a big sports movie fan (though I do hold a special place in my heart for Remember the Titans) and I didn't like the Friday Night Lights film.

Use their guarantee to get a refund and tell them why... I know I would.

Called it.

If they replaced "Devil Town" from the two episodes that it was in . . .

Still, the cheap price is too good to pass up. What can you do?

I watched the first three episodes as well. Damn, this really is one of the best shows on television.
