About time. Fox getting ahold of MGM's catalog is the best thing ever.

Glad to see it has the (presumably) original mono soundtrack.

I just watched the French Studio Canal HD DVD. I was noticing things I had never seen before like how dirty Ben's car is by the time he ditches it. And lipstick on hi cheek when he goes to talk to the plastics guy.

I will probably pick this one up too for all the extras.

Wow! Now here's hoping for two things: 1) at least an anamorphic transfer (I mean, really) and 2) that promised Blu-ray release.

Otherwise, this looks pretty amazing. Thanks, MGM!

It's a real shame that they didn't do this a few years ago, they could have gotten Anne Bancroft's thoughts on it, but this is one of my favorite movies and the specs sound about as good as they could be without her.

Fox is really kicking ass with MGM's catalog. Anamorphic upgrade and DTS? Sold on that alone.

No one's excited about the soundtrack? I've always wanted it but never bought the CD. Now I won't have to

This, The Third Man, Point Blank, Catch 22...I see Soderbergh is carving out a nice side career of providing audio commentaries for some of his favorite movies.

It just says "Simon and Garfunkel CD." I think it'd be kind of funny if people were expecting the soundtrack and instead got a copy of Bridge Over Troubled Water or The Concert in Central Park.

What kill bill news?
Guess I missed that...
EDIT: never mind, I found it.

Anyway, more re-releases, but this is a pretty cool title. I'm not sure I'll be getting it, but it looks like it has lots of cool features (I like the inclusion of the Simon/Garfunkel cd).

I'd buy it, I own the Polygram version so I would not mind at all upgrading for sure.

Glad I held off buying it now. I like Dustin Hoffman so it should be interesting to listen to his commentary.
