I own both films, so I am in for this when it get's released for sure since they are awesome films.
|
Four discs, that means it almost has to include the separate vol 1 and 2 cuts, right? I'm wondering if I should sell my current vol 1 and 2 discs awhile...

Blade Runner on 4 discs = yes / Kill Bill - mmmmm why ??
(is anyone else sick and tired of people posting comments such as ... "gee .. I hope this gets a HD release !!") And yes, I'm sick and tired of the "Where're the HD release?" posts. No, I don't have an HDTV yet or HD-DVD player (law school is expensive as it is), so until I finish school, I'll be praying for DVDs to still be mainstream and HD-DVDs to remain niche. |

About time. Cant wait to see what goodies are in the set!
|
Nice. I'll double dip on this. I'll triple dip when it comes out in HD.
|
Glad to finally see a set date set for this.
|
About time, but I may just wait for the HD version.

what a year for releases this is shaping up to be!

Didn't pick up either volume on release, so will definitely get the four disc set.
Man, the last few days, we're being inundated with amazing releases... Commando, Taxi Driver, The Graduate, and now this. |
Excited that it's coming, finally. Not excited about the price (I'm cheap). But we'll see.
|
I am so excited about this! I cannot wait!
|
Great News!!
And I was just about to finally break down and buy the single releases as I had given up all hope of this ever being released. |

Already own the other releases but will gladly shell out more for this one! Only question: what took so long? Was it a legal matter between Miramax and The Weinstein Company?

If anything, I'll just miss the cliffhanger ending of Volume 1 and the intro of Volume 2. It will be cool to have the full color version of the big fight but I've seen it before and I can't say it impacted the scene all that much. I'm hoping the other two discs are a wealth of extras since I already have the theatrical cuts. Guess we'll find out soon enough.

I am ALL OVER this release. I don't have a region-free player, and the Kill Bill films are my all-time favorites. This news just made my day!!

I thought I read that the Whole Bloody Affair wasn't just the two volumes spliced together, but a different cut of all the footage?
