Columbia House Quality?

Has anyone had a problem with the quality of Columbia House DVDs? I love my membership and get great deals there, but I am wondering where they get their stock from. Sometimes the discs are scratched, etc when they are supposed to be brand new. Anyone have the same experience?

No, and this should go in the DVD Club forum.

Columbia House is like any other place, It depends what studio makes the DVD and the Quality control that goes on there. The double-sided disc'd that Fox H.E. brings out are always scratched when you buy a TV ON DVD show set brand new here in Canada along with a few other studios.
Personally CH is a rip-off in Canada anyway. They charge the same price as the stores do (a little more sometimes) & you still have to pay for S&H plus you have to wait so damn long for it to get to the house that its just easier to go to the stores every tuesday and you get the DVD's at a cheaper price and you get em' the first day they are released.
