There's no difference, just different packaging. Someone will have to confirm me, but I believe the Naked Gun Collection has each DVD in its own DVD case with a box, while The Triple Feature has all 3 DVD packaged in the same case.

we're getting a LOT of these 3 packs 'down under' these days !!
(we actually already have the Naked Gun 3 pack - however the DD price is a little cheaper than the local version).
Gotta be careful and check that it is 3 SEPERATE DISCS - unlike the recent Dreamworks doubles (which are single discs) - of the Universal 3 packs (Steve Martin and Tom Hanks) which are 2 disc sets !

Paramount is also releasing on 8/28/2007
a Crocodile Dundee Triple Feature.
Probably would be a good idea on this release date
for them to finally unload Almost An Angel on DVD for
the 1st time barebones and all.
So we get Crocodile Dundee Triple Feature
Almost An Angel
Why not? Make it Paul Hogan day at Paramount!

If it's like the recent Waynes World: Double Feature disc, where the extras were not carried over, then I wouldn't even bother with the Naked Gun: Triple Feature.
Luckily, I already own the Naked Gun series, so no need to bother with this one, but the Dundee: Triple Feature might be worthwhile since I don't own any of them.

I dig the Naked Gun series, but after seeing what I must assume to be the theatrical cuts on HBO, I have next to no desire for the movies on DVD. The versions that air on network television have a lot more content, some of which is really funny, and they make the theatrical cuts feel incomplete and choppy. If all three films were re-released in extended form, I would probably pick up the set. For now, strangely enough, I actually prefer the "edited for TV" versions.

I was hoping that they would do a new box set with "Long Haul"-style bonus features ala the excellent new Airplane! SE they did in 2005 when the show came out, but no such luck. I'm still hoping they upgrade the DVDs though, mainly for those deleted scenes.

Extras from Naked Gun Triple carried over?
Does anyone know if the features (commentaries, etc.) were carried over onto this set? It's 3 discs, so it's possible that they were. The NG gift set had all the special features, so I'm hopeful.

I dont believe I saw a special features listing on the back of the box today.
I went to Target and Circuit City and both had them for $14.99 for the triple feature.
But who knows what they may hold on the discs.....it could just be Paramount putting the single disc DVDs into the box.

I will probably pick this one up, as its just like the beverly hills cop set with 3 discs in one case with all of the extras.

Hard to remove what was hardly ever there in the case of most of their 1st releases.
