Looks like it went OOP around 10/2006 . Don't know of any plans for a re-release, but there are used/new copies for sale via Amazon.

Any updates on a re-release?

I have the urge to see this movie and I don't feel like spending $19.95 for a full frame bare bones disc.

if you're region free, australia has an anamorphic WS version that's fairly decent quality. i think i paid around $15 US after shipping.

edit: actually i just checked and mine is region 0 so you don't even need to be region free.

Thanks! I am region free but it looked like even most of those were OOP - I always forget Australia though.

you can usually find it on your cable In Demand. I've seen it on 3 different companies free movies section.

I have a sudden thirst for anti-freeze.

the real selling point for this movie is sherilyn fenn's boobies.

Is it worth upgrading to the WS version? I've got the full-frame edition but I'd upgrade for a jump in pq. I believe the film was shot open matte, IIRC.

here's a comparison:

region 1 US version:

region 0 AUS version:

looks like the US version has a better picture but you're getting the sides lopped off because it isn't open matte.

^ Thanks for the screen grabs. Looks like I'll be upgrading to the WS version. PQ isn't very different, and I want all the picture I can get.
