A Night at the Roxbury ---> August 28th

As per DavisDVD.

Who's betting on the "What is Love" Edition?

This movie is so stupid but I love it. I will be upgrading. Hopefully they get some good extras but I think when it comes to comedies the only thing that's absolutely necessary is deleted scenes cause there are probably some lost gems in there that got cut just cause it slows the pace down or something.

Ashamed to admit, but I'll probably get it at some point (< $10 though).

A cool bonus would be if they put some of the skits from SNL on there that aren't on DVD yet. Two of my favorites not on DVD are Sylvester Stallone and Jack Nicholson.

I agree, this movie is so dumb, but it's pretty funny. I think the original DVD release had a trailer on it that showed shots from a scene or two that were not in the final film. So I'm sure there are deleted scenes available. Considering this is Paramount, though, don't hold your breath. The trailer itself will probably be missing this time around.

Yes, but it was non-anamorphic.

I love this movie and will gladly double dip to have an anamorphic transfer.

I think when this was shown on NBC, there were a few added scenes although I could just be remembering incorrectly.

The Stallone one was priceless. Ferrell and Kattan trying to run through New York with Rocky Balboa...classic. Never saw the Nicholson one, but I think I know what episode it is.

The Jim Carrey skit was also great.

It is weird...IMDb says Carrey did uncredited writing on the project and was slated for a cameo (and of course Chazz Palminteri's character "greets" him at one point. The Carrey sketch would make for a nice inclusion, at least as an easter egg even.

I was thinking of that one too but IIRC it's on the Best of Will Ferrell though I'm not sure.

Oh dear lord.

Just noticed this on Amazon.

I don't think I've seen worse cover art by a major studio all year.

At least they didn't call it the "*insert rediculously stupid name here* edition" like a lot of re-releases have been lately.

Paramount needs to make a deal with Universal and get all the SNL sketches on the DVD as a bonus feature.
