Where do you get the Steelbook?

Got The Comic Con Exclusive and its so light in weight compare to the Spartan Helmet (upcoming Bestbuy giftset).
*Big shoutout of credit to The Source furnishing me advance copies of exclusives both from R3 and Comic Con


The boxset was lighter than the V for Vendetta Giftset.


For those who are gunning for the Bestbuy Giftset dont be suprise its pretty heavy!

Its basically the same as the R3 Giftset.

I ordered my steelbook from Yesasia and they sent me the 2 disc special edition instead. I had to pay $6.30 to ship it back to Hong Kong and now they told me it's out of print. I'm pissed!

That wasn't necessary. I'm sure Xage's intent wasn't to be first with the scoop. Even if he was trying to do just that I'm not sure why it would matter. Besides his pics are real nice and better than the previous pics in this thread. He even has pics of the tote bag and a comparison with the V for Vendetta set. For what it's worth I appreciate his contribution.

Yeah, I noticed that, but the description is for the DVD. I suppose if you wanted the hassel you might be able to argue the HD out of them.

does the 2-disc SE come separately from the helmet box and what does just the dvd set look like? meaning do you have to break the seal on the helmet to get at the DVD set?

By the way out of curiosity... Was that the art of 300 book in your steelbook? How were you able to fit it in? Mine cant be inserted inside the steelbook case.

yes, it is. my doggie gnawed off the bottom with her chompers! actually, just a little snip snip did the trick.

As someone who has opened his set I know I can answer your question. The 2 disk set comes in the helmet box right behind the mask. Yes, you have to break the clear seal to get the dvd set out...

Pan and Scan? Sacrilege!! Prepare the gallows!!

If you open the box, the DVD helmet is incased in a clear plastic protection shell and whats included is the 2-dvd special edition (they are both onpack). The two are separated by a red cardboard (serving as a background for the Neca helmet)


Contrary to the packaging of the comic con exclusive, the silver immortal mask is snapped in a molded black feltpaper frame. Both the mask and the black molded frame is encased in a clear immortal mask molded plastic (Similar to V for Vendetta).

great ads xage. the target exclusive is indeed a 2-discer.

so i am still a little confused...the Best Buy set, the 2-disc amaray case can be easily separated from the inner packaging the helmet is in, correct? there is one big box, 1 smaller box with the helmet in it, and the 2-disc on the side of the helmet box, all in the big box, meaning i can keep the helmet in its smaller package without opening to get 2-disc?

quick ?? about the Target ver. the 2 disc is the same as every where else..
plus you get the PC/mobile download..
now the Making of 300 & 90 min. of extras.... are they already on the 2nd disc or are they both extras at target??
all this has me way confused... I have it pre-ordered at amazon for $21.99 no tax & no shipping... & the BB extra helmet is not for me..

I picked up the Comic Con one today. Wasn't going to and probably should have just bought the regular 2 disc at a store instead of paying $50, but oh well. I'm a sucker for these things.

I think different Packaging case since it denotes "Deluxe" Edition than "Special" Edition
