Both cuts are there, the packaging description just isn't...descriptive enough.

I checked HMV, Future Shop & Zellars in Coquitlam, BC and none had it out.

I've seen copies at Best Buy and HMV since the release date on Tuesday, and checked again yesterday and they still had them on the shelf. I'll swing by again today and see if they're disappeared from the shelves. A nation-wide recall would be very good news. At least it means they're somewhat on the ball on this. I'd hate to see this turn into another Back to the Future debacle, where corrected versions didn't appear on store shelves till a couple of years later.

EDIT: I still saw them on the shelves at Best Buy today. My guess is if they are nowhere to be found at your local store that it is because all their copies have been bought.

You'd probably be better off ordering it from the States. By the time an exchange program is set up, you return your disc, and receive the replacement, who knows how much time could've lapsed. Not to mention that they may not even have made new pressings yet.

Yeah, definitely order it up from the U.S. I've already done the same and will return my store-bought copy tomorrow or over the weekend.

No kidding. I almost reconsidered buying the release for that very reason. 108 minutes and NR - listing on the back. But I risked the purchase based on every other source except for the silly package.

What was the problem with X-Men: The Last Stand? I never heard about that one.

The only thing I recall wasn't really a problem strictly speaking.

The case claimed 10 deleted scenes, but about half of the copies actually had 21 deleted scenes.

I just finished watching the extended cut. Such a great movie, I never thought too highly of it but I absolutely love it. So good.

Circuit City had nothing, and Borders didn't even have it, which is shocking considering they carry mostly everything despite charging MSRP. However, a friend of mine went to the local Best Buy this week and said they had it in stock. I NEED this DVD, badly.

Yeah i guess i'll order it from Amazon.com. It won't be that much pricier, about 12$ more with the conversion and shipping...

Yeah, the shipping sucked, but I ordered it along with From the Earth to the Moon which they had for only $30 bucks! FutureShop lists it for $115 and Best Buy lists it for $67, which is odd since they're the same company.

But anyways, the savings there makes up for the conversion and shipping...

It mentions the 2 cuts of the film under "Special Features."

I could only find it at Best Buy too. FYE didn't even have the sku in their system.
