Cover-art is the same as my VHS copy (minus the goldish border).

So, besides the review at DVD Movie Central (which is pretty short) are there any other reviews for this sucker? Thought there'd be more one day before release date for a 2-disc Warners set.

I am going to be *so* happy to get this. I kept on checking for it to be delayed or something. I didn't trust the release date. Now, it is en route two day shipping and it will be mine tomorrow. FINALLY!
God I hope I dont get a loose scratched up disc. **knocks on wood**

Pre-ordered this on amazon, as well as Taxi Driver CE, and it appears that this week will mark the first time, in the fifteen months I've been a Prime member, that I won't get new releases on release day. My copy of Taxi Driver is in transit and Hamlet hasn't even shipped out yet (been stuck in "shipping soon" status since Sunday).

I don't have pics, but the Borders exclusive is sort of lame. It's a 28-page booklet of photos from the film, roughly 4.5" x 7". No text. This takes the place of an insert, I guess. I also guess you could argue that it's better than nothing. The good thing is that using a 30% off coupon (see the Bargains thread), you can get it for $18.89 + tax, which is the cheapest I've found it.

Yeah, I was expecting a slipcover to house it like the Departed Target exclusive but like bookcase3 said it's better than nothing. I also used the 30% off coupon. For some reason I thought it was cheaper in Best Buy but it's also 19.99 there so this seems to be the best deal. I can post a pic of the book tonight after work.

The computer automatically takes the 30% off of the list price at Borders. I have never heard of it taking off from the sale price unless it was a $X off of $X type of coupon. The cashier probably had to do a manual override to take it off of the sale price. I am not sure they are allowed to do that. They usually go out of their way to note that the discount is off of the list price.

Has anyone bought/seen the Shakespeare boxed set that includes this (and also came out on 8/14)?
I'm curious about the packaging for the titles. Just the individual keepcases in a cardboard slipcase? Or are the thinpaks?

I'm glad somebody got it. I hate when my attempts at humor fall flat.
