Just purchased a new house a few months ago, and finally have the basement mostly complete.

That's a sweet ass set up. The kinda thing I would like to have for myself once I get my shit in order.

Also...Do you happen to know where you got that computer desk and how much you paid. The reason I ask is because someone was selling me a used desk that looked very similar. Thanks.

Thanks for the comments. I previously lived in FL, and moved to CO about a year ago. Since I was finally able to have a basement (can't in FL), I figured I would try to do it right.

I got the table online a couple yrs ago - don't remember the price, but I am sure it was under $100. It is just pressed board with laminate.

Congrats on your basement cpgator. I showed your pictures to my wife as an example of something I want to have eventually. Very nice!

Thanks! The other windows overlook a stream and the mountains.

Thanks for the nice comments, and hopefully your wife will be as allowing as mine. The biggest challenge was getting her to go along with painting the ceiling black.

Thanks - I have been reallly impressed with the projector. That pic was taken with all the lights out and no flash.

While not the theater, I really like the changes we did in the family room too...

Before and after -

Love your media room. Color me jealous.

Where did you get the stand that this TV is sitting on? I'm trying to find something like this for my new home office/toy room.

TV stand was a clearance item at target a few months ago - around $70.

Nice setup. I wish I had a basement to be able to do something on this scale. I have a fairly big house with a few spare rooms, but there's no way for me to pull it all together like that.

Crappy pic because of low lighting and flash reflection, but you get the gist at least.

updated pic of the DVDs, I don't have any batteries charged so I had to use a DC cable which is short but you get the idea

Solid collection. What are the DVDs on the Left section the left most group on the 3rd row.

And what is the large collection of DVDs on the left section 4th row?

I'm in the process of finding a new set of DVD shelves. I've run out of room completely. Sorry about the cruddy picture quality.

Sceptre 32" Komodo LCD/Xbox 360 HD-DVD drive

DVD Shelf # 1 (last shelf has TV sets in front of more DVDs/HD-DVDs)
