I would be thrilled to have the African Queen on dvd. It's in the AFI top 100 movies of all time (ranked #17). Supposedly Warner Bros. will release it later this year IIRC. :fc:

I hope it stays open, it is currentyl my favorite thread. Everything has been dull lately without DigitalFreak in the HD forum stirring things up.

The DVD release had digitally blurring on Harring's lower region that wasn't present in the theaters. Lynch apparently did this to prevent shots of her bush from appearing all over the web and such.

Well in my opinion this has be dryest year for dvd since its launch.

I disagree, I think the 2007 Criterion releases have been the most exciting and ecclectic discs released so far.

Mods don't pay attention around here anymore, it seems. Last time a thread needed to be closed, it finally had to be posted in the feedback forum to get someone's attention.
