Two films from Sony that I would like to see get an "SE" treatment: Dancer, Texas Pop. 81 and The Freshman. I know that nothing has been worked on for the later, but has anyone heard anything on a re-release for Dancer, Texas? The current Columbia Tri-Star release is OOP and presented a widescreen and a full screen presentation on both sides and no extras. I would love to see commentary from writer/director Tim McCanlies and the cast.

With light to the new Coming to America and Trading Places SE's, where's a new 48 HRS.? Come on, I'd buy the "My Dick Gets Hard When the Wind Blows" Edition in a heartbeat.

Also...

Menace II Society 16:9 and uncut (Criterion, can you hear me?)
Dead Presidents 16x9 and unrated (ditto)
Total Recall (better transfer, and for the love of the three-titted hooker, the uncut version, please! If RoboCop gets an SE, surely this can)
Lethal Weapon (20th Anniversary Edition anyone?)
True Lies
Strange Days (both are self-explanatory)
Freeway (again, uncut)

Well, since I posted this thread, announcements have been made for 2 of my top 10 so far (The Graduate & Deliverance).

So I'll add two more:

1. Zodiac (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
2. He-Man & The MOTU (an entire 2nd disc devoted to people admitting they really screwed up -- still a trip to watch this turd though!)

Michael Mann's THIEF. Restored CINEMA cut in anamorphic transfer, dammit.

Beetlejuice, which apparently is coming next year. The wait continues...

And I second Lethal Weapon--an SE of the goddamned CINEMA cut, not the pointless "director's cut".
