does the deluxe version have extra parts edited into it like 2.1 does??

If you're talking about the 3-disc deluxe version that came out with promotional footage for Spiderman 2, then no. I'm pretty sure that is just a repackaging of the widescreen version along with a 3rd disc of trailers, sneak peeks, etc. for Spiderman 2, housed in a little "box" to hold both cases.
