How do you keep track of your DVD collection?

DVD Aficionado, I like the simple set-up and the ability to make my own sub-folders. The other main reason I used it was the "who else owns this" feature, so I was bummed when they dropped that But I haven't liked any others yet. I also keep a notebook of the movies I watch and my rating of them.

good ole Microsoft Excel.
I have it broken into 2 sheets:
DVD Collection Log
DVD Order History
&
Every Month make a release schedule sheet:
ex.
DVD Release Schedule (april 07)
then use Microsoft Word to keep track of what i have to watch, i usually finish the new release within the week but if i don't finish and it takes me over a week to finish i will add it to the watch list.
I use the DVD Spending tab here at DVDtalk to keep track of the money i spend.
Back in my early DVD days in 2001, i used to use the 'old school' pen & paper.

Another vote for the new DVD Profiler V3.0. Just threw down the 30$ for it, and it's definitely worth it.
*Awaits pending Mac vs. PC war.*

But of course you'll have to upgrade your computer to a Mac.

Online I just use DVD Aficionado. It's not the best looking or most detailed, but it gets the job done. Online all that really matters to me is a basic listing of what I've got for other people to see. I also keep my wantlist on there. It's very incomplete, but it's an easy to way to keep a halfassed list of what I want.

Depending on what OS (operating system for you non-nerds) there are two good ones.
DVD Profiler on the PC side is good
DVDPedia is the best on the Mac side, and in my opinion better than Profiler. DVDPedia also comes as CDPedia, GamePedia, and BookPedia. Check out bruji.com for more info.

I have been using Movie Collector, but I also have Delicious Library installed on my computer (I've been using it for books). I'm curious to try out Delicious Library for my movies, and I am wondering if there is a good way of importing the info from Movie Collector into Delicious Library....
Thanks!
Thanks!

I've been using DVD Profiler for a few yrs on my PC. I just loaded up Delicious Library on my MacBook. Much better than profiler. I love how iSight scans your barcode. Are your freaking kidding me? That's awesome.

I used to be big on DVD Aficionado. Unfortunately, once I topped 500 and had to rely on the sub-folders, some of the appeal was lost. Then they took away the "Who else has it" feature and it lost even more. Nowadays, I keep it updated only because it's something to do.
DVD Spot is great. Has the statistics that I really missed when Guzzlefish went down. Love the weekly "top additions" categories to see what everyone else is buying. Good stuff.
I also use DVD Profiler (though I tend to get very behind in updating). I use it mostly because of the plug-ins that you can download that allow you to print out DVD info and movie summaries of each of your titles.
