Will Motherlode ever get released on DVD?

Well, now that Night of the Comet has finally come out, my last wish is for this great movie to be released (not of the same genre). I've got a VHS copy, a Beta copy and a Laserdisc version with a DVD backup. But this so much deserves a release on DVD. One of the great underrated 80's suspense movies, filmed in the beautiful Northern British Columbia with a fantastic sound score and a very early role for Kim Bassinger. Directed by Charlton Heston and written and produced by his son Frasier, and starring Charlton Heston in dual roles, this film should be seen by all. I can't even find copies anymore on ebay, (but you can find used ones on amazon).
