And for anyone interested in the WalMart exclusive that comes with 2 decks of Casino Royale playing cards and poker chip, even though that edition comes in a box the DVD inside comes with the slipcover as well.

I think the coin is pretty cool. I wasn't expecting it to be in a little pouch like it is. Pretty neat looking.

Since the extra is a book, then it doesn't, but if it would have been a third disc as originally thought with exclusive content, then it would. That's what I was saying.

The $13.99 was a mistake.

Personally, I think it's the best exclusive of the bunch. Nice glossy hardcover and everything.

You can find more information on the original book here.

I bought the set with the playing cards at WM. In typical WM fashion, there were a ton of full screen deluxe sets but no visible widescreen. Asked a clerk if they had any in the back and she said no, but we did manage to find 2 locked in a display case. Why even bother with a full screen delux edition at all let alone stock it almost exclusively?

That's Wal Mart for you. Seems like they stock more Full Screen DVDs than Widescreen. You don't see that at any other place...

I noticed the same thing at Wal-Mart, as well.

Almost thought the Poker Set was exclusive to full screen.

I was at my local Target (since Best Buy had no miniature Aston Martins left, believe it or not) to get the exclusive. Even the shelf price tag advertises a "Making Of" bonus DVD, but the set only includes the 2disc and the book itself. Guess it's an error. Also, looks like the book is a scaled down version of the one advertised on Amazon. I saw the actual book at Borders, and it is much much larger than the one included in the Target set. Same number of pages and content, but just scaled down to fit the packaging.

I also got one for $13.99. Didn;t realize until I came into this thread that there was even a debate about the price.

The coin is cool. I thought it was going to be a small plastic piece of crap, but it's a real metal coin with a small pouch to keep it in. Kind of useless I guess, but still cool, considering it was free.

Fuckin' Wal-Mart...I had to look through every single box set to find one that was widescreen, and I found ONE out of maybe 50 of the sets!

I know Wal-Mart prices vary by location, but for those of you who got the poker set at WM, how much more was it than just the DVD by itself? Trying to figure out if it's worth the $. Thanks.

At my WM, the deluxe version was $4 more. The DVD alone was $15.95.

DVD itself was $15.84 (oh those wacky Wally World prices)
DVD poker set was $19.84

So for $4.00 extra you get 2 decks of cards (one black one red) and a poker chip. Cool thing is the cards and chip are made by Cartamundi (the company that made them for the movie), so they are exact reproductions of the cards and chip used in the movie. Nice quality, especially the chip.

Thanks. I may splurge for the set.

I'm going to use mine as a Dealer chip when hosting Hold'em games.

Heading to Walmart soon, but I'm wondering if i can only find the FS version, if it would be possible to take the DVD and flip it later for a WS version. Anyone try?

Don't see why you couldn't.

I picked up Best Buy's toy car, Target's book, and Wal-Mart's poker set, I would rank them: Wal-Mart, Target, and Best Buy. I don't have a Circuit City, so I can't comment on the coin.

Rocky Balboa has this trailer on the trailer page of the disc.

I personally didn't care about any of the exclusives. I bought my copy @ BB and therefore received the toy car. It's nothing spectacular, but it was free and it looks nice hanging on my wall in the packaging. I'm more pissed about the fact that this disc screams double dip considering the shoddy menus, lack of "real" extras or any adherence to the style of prior 007 releases.

I netflixed "Stranger Than Fiction" tonght (regular DVD edition, though, not the Blu-Ray) just to make sure, and the CR trailer is definitely NOT on this disc. It does have a 30-second commerical for the DVD release of "Casino Royale", but not the actual trailer. Pretty worthless spot.

So, I guess I may have to check out the DVD of "The Holiday" (ugh) or "Rocky Balboa" (lesser ugh) to find this trailer (thanks noahtc). Is the trailer on anything better? Sony's line-up just doesn't seem to be up my alley for the most part.

I downloaded the trailer in HD from the PS Network, but had no idea it was left off the disc.
