Probably not in the case of this superman collection set or DVDs in general, but sometimes an incorrect item that results in really limited amount on the street fetches big bucks...

The corrected set is supposed to have a different UPC code.

EDIT: Damn, that dude did say open it... that had to be a joke. Anyway, you shouldn't have to open it to determine if it contains the corrected discs, but I agree with the folks who say that A) screwed-up discs don't make the set valuable, and B) even with the corrected discs, the set isn't an investment, it's just a bunch of movies.
