Julius Caesar (1970) Full Screen Only?
I went to pick up the new Charleton Heston version of Julius Caeser and was puzzled to find only copies in 1:33 : 1 format. Is this film not being released in widescreen? Anyone know anything?

Check out the review. It's supposed to be 2.35:1 Panavision. Ouch! Stay away.

Wow, unforgiveable. Who do I complain to? What suit needs the crap kicked out of them. After that review, I don't want to buy the DVD, even though I want to see the movie very badly.

Message to Lionsgate...another lost sale here of Julius Caesar due to the incorrect aspect ratio. I immediately removed it from my wish list after reading the review that it was pan-and-scanned. Unbelievable in this day and age of widescreen tv and HD.

This was delayed about two years and still came out in P&S. The Image laserdisc was 2.35:1 letterboxed, by the way.
Pro tip: No one wants pan & scan-only DVDs in 2007.
