I missed this and will definitely rent this, I heard pretty good things. I hope they use the poster with all the heads and 'missing' in the middle for the art.

Spoilers below? I don't know how many people don't know the story, but if you don't know it, don't read on.

I just saw this movie last night, and for some reason it was one of the better movies I have seen in awhile. It might have been because of the true story aspect of it, but I saw the movie while only a few things about what happened, after I saw the movie I spent about an hour or two researching the Jesse James Hollywood story. It also had probably the most disturbing scene I have ever set my eyes upon. Since knowing it was a true story, the whole part where "Elvis" was put in the situation to kill "Zack" to all the way up to how "Zack" got killed was really hard to watch. The actors did an incredible job, and I felt like I was actually watching the actual murder happen right before my eyes.

Justin Timberlake really surprised me with his preformance. I don't really care for him, but after seeing him in this movie, I would like to see him do some more movies. He really made the "Elvis/Zack/Frankie" scene believable.

Really seems as a love it/hate it movie. I loved it. If it comes out on HD DVD, I will definitely pick it up.

i really enjoyed this in theatres also, outside of one guy arguing with another couple that had answered their phone, which nearly ended in fist-a-cuffs. so seeing this again, this time in a quite place, will probably make it better.

I'm sort of surprised that there isn't more extras.
On IMDB message board, Nick C. and Matt Barry said that when it would be released on DVD that it would include deleted scenes and a documentary that Heather Weinquist (SP?) made about the film.

I just wonder if Universal is planning some sort of "Special Edition" a few months from now.

Is there a dvd cover mistake? Who is Suspect #2 on the cover. I don't ever remember seeing this guy in the movie. Is it an over looked mistake?

I also liked this movie a lot. Even though the story telegraphs what's ahead, that "inevitableness" feeds an impressive tension (I think even that great Brit Billy-S used that trick on a number of occasions) that holds everything together even during the rare times when the story flags. Good performances, too.

I think the hat is the one he's wearing right before he's caught by police and it flies off his head.

I blind bought this on HD DVD and liked it alot. One of Sharon Stone's scenes towards the end was too over the top, but in all a good movie.
