Pretty much agree with everything The No Man said.

Obviously, a good movie is better than a bad tv show, but when it comes to 2 things you like, the TV show is usually a better value. The time issue is probably the biggest factor for me too. That said, I still have a ton of movies.

i like movies don't get me wrong but i watch alot of tv shows and have enjoyed tv shows more than movies due to the fact that i don't go to the theaters and i only blind buy once and awhile.
I agree with that. AND I get more out of the TV DVD's because the shows I have have high replay value - I rewatch Scrubs constantly.

Others I've watched multiple times in order of most rewatched:
NewsRadio
Arrested Development
Sex and the City
Friends
South Park
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Sopranos
X-Files
The Simpsons
(jam PACKED with extras in the recently released seasons!)
Strangers with Candy
Seinfeld

the only tv shows i have thus far are the sopranos and nip tuck. seinfeld and satc i wouldnt mind getting though. i usually go for special features on movies so i go for the 2 disc editions. i love criterion though..there packaging is usually top notch and loaded with features. also some movies you can only get through criterion.
