I'll definitely second Tootsie, The Stepfather and Annie Hall
(although I'm not holding my breath for that last one) and add:

Throw Momma from the Train: 20th Anniversary Edition
(with audio commentary by Danny DeVito, since I really
enjoyed the commentary he did on The War of the Roses)

Death Becomes Her: 15th Anniversary Edition (anamorphic, at last,
with all the deleted Tracey Ullman scenes, including the original ending)

Sister Act: 15th Anniversary Edition

The House of Yes: 10th Anniversary Edition

(with Parker Posey commentary!)

Romy and Michele's High School Reunion: 10th Anniversary Edition

Well, we're definitely getting BLADE RUNNER, DELIVERANCE, Bram Stoker's DRACULA and POLTERGEIST; the rest, I don't know, but you have some fabulous selections...

The Digital Bits have said recently that we should be getting the mega deluxe 30th Anniversary Star Wars Box Set of all the films.

Let us not forget the 10 year anniversary of the Jonathan Mostow directed thriller Breakdown, starring Kurt Russell. That title begs for an anamorphic transfer.

Such a great movie and I would upgrade in a second.

Hasn't there been news of a Cool Hand Luke SE? One of my favorites of all time.

Raising Arizona would be great, so would The Game.

Looking forward to Chasing Amy and Blade Runner.

Howard talked about it a little a few months ago, unfortunately he didn't sound too hot on the prospect. I wish he would, he always talks about all the deleted scenes, so i'm dying to see those

Its not up to him. Paramount won't sell him the rights.

I've always heard him say how he'd love to release one, but can't.

Yeah, I doubt we'll see any special editions of Woody Allen movies until after he passes away. I think he likes the movies to stand alone and still has control over that aspect.

The way he was making it sound was that he was approached but he didn't want to take the time out to do it because in howards world everything has to be perfect and miserable. Plus i don't think he wants to go back and help viacom, even though he does go on letterman but i feel he does that more out of friendship. maybe he will do it for the 15th when he is done at sirius

Dimension had a perfect opportunity to re-release Scream with a 16x9 transfer during its 10th Anniversary last year and completely ignored it. Good job, guys.

Bridge on the River Kwai is getting re-released in March as part of a new classic line by Sony. It looks like it'll mirror the Limited Edition version.

I don't think it'll happen, but it would be cool if we got an anamorphic Mimic release to coincide with Pan's Labyrinth's dvd debut.
