No, guys. Those movies had plots.

The third one's about a hooker and she has a date. It also tells you what's going to happen at the end which is about 10 minutes later. Hookers beware!!!!!!!!!

The fourth one's the comedy. When you try to make a horror movie but lack the skills that call for horror, humor's always the answer. The professor's getting married to the perfect girl. Uh oh, are his smartest students not so smart when it comes to the opposite sex? Perfect girls beware!!!!!!!!!!

The fifth one stars a doctor that got sentenced to work in a clinic. He's a big jerk too. He doesn't like helping the people there. He tells it to the patients straight up yo. How rude! Some would say it's not a shame if he got what's coming to him. Rude doctors beware!!!!!!!!!

While I did say there wasn't the Creep guy, there is some demon, that could be him but acts nothing like him, that shows up. For all I know, it's an updated version of him.

I wonder if King & Romero saw it as the Creep promised (circa 2005)?

Message from the Creep:

things are good here in creepville, scaring little children, eating gods creatures...same ol' same ol.

mr. king and romero are not involved in the new bloodbath, but they will see it..

expect CP3 in mid 2006.

THE CREEP

Oy.

I have a mental image of them being strapped down Clockwork Orange style, and forced to watch Creepshow 3.

I absolutely love that they signed it by saying "CP 3".

Creepshow 3...How does that equal "CP 3"? What the fuck does CP 3 mean?

How come this company can releases stuff like this when they're ripping of the names of other films?

In some of their DOTD2 advertising they said stuff like it was an official sequel etc. Did they buy up some strange rights off someone?

But wait, Creepshow 3 is being released by...

Wait for it...

Wait for it...

Wait for it...

HBO which is owned by Warner.

However, film rights are a tricky thing. DOTD2 was able to be made as Taurus Entertainment Company owned the rights to the original film -- leading the way to the sequel (which had no involvement with anyone from the original) -- as well as selling the remake rights to Nu Image / Millennium Films (ugh).

Where did you find the info that Creepshow 3 is released by HBO? I'm not saying you're wrong, I just haven't seen that info. I've seen Taurus listed as the maker/distributor of this film.

Taurus did in fact produce the film, but HBO Entertainment picked up the distribution rights. The movie is being released on DVD from HBO in the US and Warner in other regions.

At work today I noticed that this is going to be available for rental from Redbox. Guess I'll give it a rent. Worst case scenario, I'm out 90 minutes and $1.

Half a star? I'm there!

Professor Dayton's Wife tells of a goofy university professor who gets off on playing jokes on his students. He gets engaged and at his engagement party his students deduce that his fiancé is actually a robot so they take her apart. Yeah. You read that right.
OMG, SPOILERS!

Here is a video review from the guys of Dead Pit radio.

Those clips look awful. I'm amazed Warner actually bought this.

You should have gotten Tales From the Darkside: The Movie instead of Creepshow 3. It is considered by many to be the unofficial Creepshow 3.

Just having seen clips of Creepshow 3, I can already tell you that TFTD is a 1000 times better.

Hmm...interesting. Thanks for the recommendation on Tales. Probably can't go wrong for $7. I just wish The Twilight Zone Movie would come out someday.

Yes.

Honestly, I expect they'll get a decent number of sales from people who are unaware that this isn't up to the quality of the previous 2 (and has nothing to do with Romero, King, or otherwise have any connection to the previous 2).

But you went in with full knowledge. And still ordered it. That might make you unique.

Matthew Chmiel, thanks for the explanation.

Maybe HBO picking it up the POS Creepshow 3 was the real reason HBO's CEO lost his job and not the reason here

Yeah, maybe not
