Not that anyone cares, but the language is Russian, not Kazakh.

My Walmart has this DVD for $13.99 right now so I took the $3 off coupon and got the DVD for only $10.99 today. You can't get much better than that.

And just to chime in, the one I bought did have the other language on the back of the DVD case.

does the coupon work at CC? some say it has worked and some say it hasn't. is it just YMMV?

Went back to Best Buy today and they were sold out of the gift sets.

I was about to let netflix know I got a bootleg before popped it in and saw that it was dual layer disk. I said to myself who would be dumb enough to copy it with a dual layer disk and leave it in here. lol

It's ads for other Fox DVDs but at the top it says "More movie discs available from u s & a" on one side, and on the other side it says "Also legal to own in kazakhstan"

Makes for a nice overall package with the Kazakh cover and the bootleg disc.

Are all the slipcovers in english or is there a variation of it as well. Went to BB today and bought mine. After looking for awhile i thought only fullscreen had the diffrent back cover but i finally came across a widescreen. Im sure i looked suspicious pulling off all these slipcovers

Got mine at best buy yesterday [Tuesday] (wanted the gift set but it was sold out so just got the regular version).

Mine has english slipcover, and foreign language on inside dvd.

the one I got at Target had russian under the slipcover. I paid way too much, but CC and BB were far out of the way, so I got Borat and South Park S9 there, I paid more than I should have, but as a consolation I got a $5 gift card

Got mine at Walmart. Slipcover had Western alphabet with Cyrillic underneath. I didn't pay $6 extra for the T-shirt.

Didn't care for the shirt at Best Buy....so just picked up the DVD. EXCELLENT! The deleted scenes were great too.

God I love this DVD......

I mean its short on Bonus Features but the whole feel of the bootlegged-nes of the DVD really makes it hilarious.

O I got the English slipcover/Russian interior dvd as well......it just makes it that much funnier. My brother got a real laugh from it...and the Discorez logo and slogan....

It would be great if it was recalled, then when people list it on eBay much of it will look like a bootleg, since I'm sure some goobers wouldn't bid on it because of that.

I got the Wal-Mart exclusive with the white shirt "GK" well worth it!

I rented it earlier today and actually thought somebody kept the real version and threw a burned copy into the case... dumb american fool.

I thought the same thing. I was like since when does family video start renting bootlegs.

Not sure if this was mentioned, but did anyone notice that now the frat brothers are labeled as only that and not as "Chi Psi Fraternity Brothers." Unless I'm dreaming that was how it was in the theatre. Maybe Fox did this to appease some suits.

I'd be lying if I didn't think I got a bootleg for a second upon opening my borat dvd.

Transparent box much like not-transparent box, but with transparent box you see romance explosion. I liiiike.

It is a Fox film after all, so I wouldn't rule it out but normally in the case of double-dips other regions get the 2-disc version first. Since every region appears to be getting the same release, I don't think there's a new edition on the horizon.
