The Complete PLUTO - Volume 1 Vs. Volume 2?

Which PLUTO volume would you recommend to someone who remembers liking Pluto but hasn't seen the cartoons since he was as very small kid?

The older Volume 1 package, or the "newer" Volume 2 package (latter years)? Which volume would have more "appeal" to a non-fan kind of fan? Which set has the better cartoons - of substance?

Volume 2 contains the most famous Pluto cartoon, the one with the bubblegum and bumble bee.
