Since It's Christmas....any chance of The Ref SE?

I just watched this again last night. Talk about a dvd the desperately needs an overhaul, like say, anamorphic transfer. I know Ted Demme's gone, but I'm sure Denis Leary, Kevin Spacey, and Judy Davis wouldn't mind contributing to some extras. Seeing as it was a comedy vehicle driven by Leary, I would think there would be a ton of cut comedy rants from him...

But has there ever been any rumors or possible SE re-releases of this one?

I'v never heard any rumors...I would just settle for an anamorphic transfer at this point.

I'm in for an anamorphic transfer! One of the best Christmas movies ever!

Brilliant movie. I don't understand why this never caught on with audiences. This coming from a nonfan of Leary.

Another of Leary's early films, 'Judgement Night' (with Emilio Estevez) badly needs a SE also...but I'll settle for The Ref

My favorite Christmas movie. I always watch it this time of year. It's a tradition. I'd actually double dip on this title if a SE was released.
