That looks really nice. Glad I waited and skipped the last release.

One of my favorite movies. I'm a whore for this and buy it each and every time the studio dips (which has been quite a bit across VHS/LD/DVD). Thanks for the news...

I don't own any previous versions, so this version will be mine.

I'm a sucker for musicals, and this is a great one, in my opinion.

Nice for those who don't own the prior SE. I do, and there doesn't seem to be anything here that really warrents an upgrade from my perspective.

Agreed .... the edition I have is anamorphic and includes the commentary track, along with a slick 8-page insert.

I also purchased the first release and didn't double dip when the SE was released. This Collector's Edition release should have been the second release all along. I'll await reviews first before upgrading.

The previous SE of Fiddler on the Roof seemed efficent enough for it not to need a upgrade. Instead they (Fox/MGM?) should have concentrated their efforts in bringing out a SE of How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying, as the previous edition doesn't even have an anamorphic transfer!!!!!!
