wow! we can discuss now -

guess the music rights (the Pink Floyd songs) in C.R.A.Z.Y didn't prevent this disc from not coming out stateside.

Every time I see an update to this thread, I've come in, hoping to see this.

I saw this in the theater, and loved it; I'll definitely be getting the DVD.

Gah! Any word on The Fountain? I meant to go see it and never could find the time, and, seemingly after just two or so weeks, it's gone from the theaters. WTF, this is a pretty big realease and they pull it already?

Why do you think New Line would wait so long to release it?

Since it's been making a splash with the Critics Awards, they figure it could make just as big a splash with the gold guy.

i know man.but from a marketing student point of view, i think studios are wrong when they release their oscar hopefuls/winners in april.i think they should be released in the same week or even before the oscar awards show cos ppl wanna watch those crappy nominated films as soon as the winners are announced.

i was excited ans surprised when warner decided to release The Departed in Feb.also Babel by Paramount is going to be released in Feb and so on...but apparently New Line is not down with the programme.

Mao, do you know of a place where I can find Region 4 (NZ) release dates? I haven't had much luck finding info on when things come out here on DVD.

Sierra Disc,

I would resurrect your question in the International Forum, but you might try:

www.dvdunlimited.co.nz

www.fatso.co.nz

www.movieshack.co.nz

Frequently, like Netflix, some companies allow there queues/title info to reflect titles coming out in the next couple of months.
