Where is Son of the Beach Volume 2?

Did they decide not to release this for a reason? I've been waiting for a couple years now and I haven't heard a thing... I'd love to see the rest of the episodes. Anyone know anything?

Personally I think we are SOL, the first set will be the only set they release, not enough people bought it...

I've been waiting on this too. I believe I heard something a year or so back (it could've been here), that the set was not being released due to bad sales. IT's kind of disappointing especially if you look at how many shitty shows are getting full releases. Plus, there's only one more season of Son Of The Beach. IT's not like by releasing the second season, they're committing to ten seasons of shitty sales.

Being one of about 10 people who bought the first volume, I would like to see the second volume released. However, I don't think that it is going to happen.

I don't know the sales figures, but part of the reason there hasn't been a Season 2 probably has to due with Howard Stern refusing to promote it in any way. He doesn't get a piece of the DVD sales $, so when people have called up to ask where Season 2 is, he tells them he doesn't really care.

It's probably hanging out with the rest of the seasons of Malcolm in the Middle....which seems to never want to be released...

I don't know why they don't go to the direct sales model for shows like these. They can charge a little more and can make far smaller runs. The people who really want it will get it, and retailers don't get stuck with it clogging up their shelves.

This omission has pissed me off for quite some time.

I gave up on the possibility of this seeing the light of day a long time ago. Pretty unfortunate...

At times a volume can be selected episodes that don't make up a full season but that isn't always the case. The Family Guy "Seasons" are actually called volumes and if I recall Batman The Animated Series was put out as volumes because some of the season were very very long and some were short. They spaced them out over a few sets evenly to keep the cost the same for each set.

Yes, and Volume 2 would have included the second half of Season 2 and all of Season 3. Too bad we never got it. SotB was hilarious and the HOT Amy Weber was one of the best things about Season 3.
