In the Superman Box Set replacement thread I saw mention of Tom and Jerry. What is that is the issue with those discs?

Basically, four of the shorts on Volume 2 accidentally have re-recorded dialog to replace the maid's politically-incorrect voice. WB issued replacements, which they began mailing to people last month.

If you've called the 800 number, you should have received the replacements by now. If you haven't, you should call again.
