Smallville. Saw one episode via Netflix, promptly sealed the disc, went to Circuit City and bought season one.

Probably Everwood. I adore that show, and although I've had other blind-buys, this one probably tops them all. I too would kill for the other seasons to be released.

Other great tv blind-buys:
Boston Legal: S1
Firefly
Freaks and Geeks
Lost S1
Wonderfalls
Dead Like Me
Gilmore Girls: S1
Veronica Mars: S1
Undeclared
Battlestar Galactica: S1

And that's not even the start of it. I blind-buy often on tv shows.
It's a gamble, but (as seen by the list) often pays off.

All series that I got into via blind buys, either having seen absolutely nothing of a series or not even enough to remotely justify the purchase:

Buffy, the Vampire Slayer
Angel
Firefly
Freaks and Geeks
Battlestar Galactica
(new)

24 Season 1. Got it about 2 years ago when amazon had a 14.99 sale. I was hooked from about 5 mins into the first episode and have since watched every episode since and its one of my favorite shows now.

I bought season 1 of Buffy once when it was on sale for like $12, and fell in love with the show.

Veronica Mars, hands-down
Firefly and Babylon 5 would be above it in my book, but neither one was a blind buy.

From The Earth To The Moon, although I'm not sure mini-series like that should count.

Count me in on the "Band of Brothers", the only Blind Buy I have ever done on TV-DVD, but I heard so much about it, it really was not a Blind Buy.
