There are only two lists on there where I'd be glad to own every title myself, and of those two, Noirfan got my vote.

Just so everyone knows here, the DDD sale is being continued till 11/23. As for this contest, i have talked with Joe and there might be some problems. Hopefully this will all be sorted out in the next day or two. Details in the future.

That sucks about the cheating, I wonder if it occurred in either of the previous contests. Even though my lists have never made the cut, I've enjoyed participating in these contests. If you have any interest in doing one of these again in the future, maybe instead of having a poll at the end, make a new thread where people can post which list that made your cut they vote for, and only votes from those that are "Member" or above count, so no "Cool New Member" or "New Member" people can vote (although I see no reason to disallow "New" people from posting a list on the first thread). Although it would take a few minutes to count the votes, I would think that this would eliminate cheating. Just an idea.

I thought about doing something like that. Not sure what i'll end up doing, but as of right now i'm not planning on doing a contest. That could change by the time the next one comes around, so we'll see.

That's disappointing. I've never posted a list, but I've found these to be entertaining and gotten some good ideas for DVDs to buy myself (so you've helped me spend more money, thanks )

i've never entered the contest with my own list, but enjoy watching the lists and then voting. i think that kocheese99 had a very fun idea, of which we have all received some movie title suggestions for the ddd sales.

i'd be bummed if there weren't any more contests, but very understandable in light of what has been going on. bad taste, indeed.

I've deleted my post that i made. I apologize to everyone involved with this. I apologize to Joe Canadian as well, i have no right to accuse anyone of anything right now. All of the comments i made out of the frustration i was feeling about the information i was being told.
