It's been almost a year since Season Two of Drawn Together finished.
I remember Season One coming out on DVD October 4th, 2005, and haven't heard anything about Season Two being released at this late in the year. TVShowsOnDVD hasn't posted anything. Strange. Anybody hear any news?

Weird. I was wondering the same thing myself today and was checking out some websites but, like you, turned up nothing.

Season 3 is well underway and they seem to be stuck in a Captain Hero destroys things loop. Getting kinda boring. Bummed, cuz I liked this show a lot.

I was really sad that a volume 2 DVD did not preceed Season 3 airing. Weird!

I read somewhere that season 3 was originally supposed to begin airing in late January, and thus, the DVD is scheduled to be released December 2006/January 2007.

From Wikipedia page on Drawn Together:

"No official date has been given for the release of the Season Two DVD. In emails sent to fans, co-creator Matt Silverstein projects that the DVD will be released in October 2007 around the time Season Three will resume airing on television."

Ouch.

At least it will be coming out, its better than stopping with season 1.

RESUME airing? Christ, season 3 started airing in October of 2006 and only had 7 episodes from October to November of that year. Anything coming out in October of 07 should be season 4.

Apparently all the season 3 episodes were in the can, but only the first half of them were shown before the hiatus.

Yeah, but damn... a year hiatus? Even though all the episodes are done? What, do they think they're the Sopranos or something?

That, admittedly, is a little crazy. Considering the 1st season was only 7 episodes, the 1st 7 of S3 could be considered a "season" since there are still 7 unaired episodes. The only new thing Comedy Central is airing right now is the Sarah Silverman show, right?

Maybe they just want to run it when South Park has new episodes.

(Which if THAT is true maybe they will air them when South Park normally starts their new season - in March. )

I think this finally the news we have all been waiting for that season two is coming out on dvd july 10th all i have left to say is FUCK YEAH!!!!! Its about damn time.

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like this set will be released on 7/10. TVShowsonDVD is reporting that this has been pulled off the schedule.

Did people actually like the third season that has been shown so far?
I liked the earlier ones a lot and even bought the S1 DVD, but IMO
the third season was just awful awful awful awful.

I didn't watch the 3rd season at all. After enjoying the S1 DVDs, I decided just to wait for discs.

It was poor. Hardly any hilarity. Did new writers take over, or did they just get lazy? The "Lost In Parking Space, Part One" was probably the only half-decent one.
