The Covenant ----> 1/2/2007

From thedigitalbits.com:

Also today, Sony has officially announced The Covenant for release on 1/2.

I really liked this film and thought it was unfairly criticized in the media and by the public. The trailer clearly indicated what kind of film it was - teen coming of age film with warlocks, special effects and goth overtones.. I thought it delivered on that. nothing great.. but very enjoyable imho.

This could very well end up being a blind purchase for me...

I enjoyed it, even though it's The Craft with boys.

There's a funny review on IMDB that called this "The Craft meets Dragonball Z."

An apt description, IMO. But I'll be getting it anyway.

I LOVED The Craft, but I'm still gonna pass this one up.

You couldn't pay me to sit through this again. I went in with low expectations and saw it for free, and I'm still pissed off about it.

I know this is sort of a thread-cap, but if people start talking about blind purchases, I'd feel like I did them a dis-service by not warning them.
