Robert Mitchum Signature Collection ---- 1/23/2007

From dvdtimes.co.uk:

Robert Mitchum Signature Collection (R1) in January

Warner Home Video have announced the Region 1 DVD release of Robert Mitchum: The Signature Collection for 23rd January 2007. This six-disc set includes Angel Face, Macao, Home From The Hill, The Sundowners, The Good Guys and The Bad Guys and The Yakuza.

All titles will be available separately ($19.98 SRP) or as part of the collection ($59.92 SRP).

It’s usually the other way around, but we’re currently waiting on the press release for details on the bonus content so for now you’ll just have to make do with the artwork…

It will be. I think the above cover art makes that obvious. Not to mention that Warner has said they plan on going to slim cases for box sets, and regular cases for the individual releases

Gotta agree with Savant -- I've seen several reviews of the set dissing The Yakuza, which I just don't get it. Sure, we aren't talkin' Citizen Kane, but it's still a danged good movie.

You and I seem to be the only ones that care about this. I hate these crappy slim packs and have had to make customs for each of them. What a bunch of work, but hey I love my collection and it just isn't complete until it's in a keep case.

What's next? CD jewel cases? After all, they save a lot more space...

I also hate the slimcases for movies, don't mind them when they're used for a TV series.

Love the slim cases. Those that hate 'em for boxsets ... get ready for more and more disappointment.

It was my understanding from someplace on the web that they are in slim cases but maybe I'am wrong? I'am fine with slim cases as long as you get a box to put them in.
