The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus??

Has anybody heard any news on releasing the 1985 Rankin bass Xmas special "The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus?" This was a weird hour long special in the same mold as Rudolph but it told the story of santa's immortality. Just wondering if anybody has seen it on dvd or knows if it is coming out. Thanks

I don't have any DVD news, but it is available on VHS. Expect to pay an "out of print" premium.

Maybe someone can suggest this title in the next Warner chat. They still have a few other Rankin Bass specials they are sitting on as well.

I'd love to see the full-length Rankin Bass feature Willie McBean & His Magic Machine on DVD. I don't think Warner owns it though. It was on VHS by Prism, also very hard to find. Anchor Bay, where are you?

It played at least once on the Family Channel last Christmas. Since I finally had a DVR/DVD Recorder, I made my own to replace my 20-year-old taped-from-bad-antenna-reception copy.
