MIAMI HEAT 13 Disc Collector's Set!!
Warner is releasing a 13 disc set of the Miami Heat's Championship run. I love it!! I wish I knew what exactly was on the discs. The Amazon description only talks about the Detroit and Dallas games. They better not include any of those horrible losses in the set, I'll never watch those. Here is the link.

If anyone can get anymore details I'd really appreciate it. GO HEAT!!

Do they need 13 discs for 1 championship run?

well it looks like it will be all 6 games from the Eastern Finals and all 6 games from the NBA finals, Plus a bonus disk which will probably have interviews and maybe the parade and stuff like that.
Looks like a cool set, but i'm just not a big enough Heat fan to drop $70 bucks on it.

Why not put the 3 clinching games (1st round 2nd round ECF) and the nba finals series and put like 3 awesome games from regular season? maybe like wades career high or something. or a thriller.

Congrats to the Miami Heat for waking up finally against the Dallas Mavericks in that game 3 of the NBA finals. If they didn't they would have lost the whole thing. I think the NBA should have done this with last years NBA champion, the 2005 San Antonio Spurs. That series against Phoenix was amazing and the NBA finals were very competitive and went to 7 games, and was more entertaining than anything offered here by the 2006 Miami Heat. A year 2 late if you ask me, this NBA championship was a snoozefest until after Game 3. And they want people to drop $70 bucks down on this set, no thanks NBA.

It's a cool idea for Heat fans. Kind of like the Red Sox World Series/ALCS set. I wish the NFL would do this - I would've snapped up a six disc set for the Steelers Super Bowl run. A set with the four complete playoff games, current highlights disc, and parade disc would've been nice. For a league with American sports' most fervent fans, the NFL is really dropping the ball on their DVD releases.

13 discs would be for a franchises history and not 1 championship season. A little overboard if you ask me.

As a Kobe Bryant fan, this will always be a dark spot in my memory. Shaq won *sadface*
Nice set though. I'd love to have something like that for past Lakers, Celtics, Bulls and Rockets championships. The NBA Dynasty Series is nice, but doesn't have enough actual complete games on it for me.

Why on earth would they include the two losses from each of the last two series'! It doesn't make any sense. It is a suppossed to be a collection of the championship run of the HEAT. The set is obviously catered to those who are HEAT fans and want to see them WINNING. Who cares about their losses! I'm not interested in going through the other games. Give me Game 6 of the Bulls where Shaq went off, or the clincher against New Jersey. Game 5 of the East Finals, a blowout at the Palace, and Game 2 of the Finals which was another blowout are particularly worthless.

At least the NBA and the NHL have both gotten their championship discs right by putting the widescreen version of the game broadcast on the disc...for some reason that Steelers DVD set is fullframe.

Is it widescreen? The Amazon page says it is, but not on the warner page. The original one disc dvd also said it was standard, but the program itself is widescreen, and you could zoom in to have it fill your 16x9 TV. I hope it's the ABC HD broadcasts in widescreen.
