Trailers on DVDs - Fast forward, no you can't on this one
My daily rant -
I am peeved off right now because the DVD I rented has the usual trailers before the movie starts. What I'm peeved about is the DVD won't let me speed forward to the movie. The fast forward feature is disabled. So now you HAVE to sit through two FIVE MINUTE trailers.
Movie rented - "Matador" with Pierce Brosnan. You know, we go to the movies and they kill us with a hundred trailers and now this. "Get it off your chest, brother!"

so no one really cares for the coming attractions?
they are actually been fine for me, especially since I work in a video store, they give customers better recommendations. and focus features has great trailers, IMHO they haven't missed yet.
I don't mind them on dvds as much
a. if it's an older movie, they're old trailers so you can press 1 button
b. if it's more recent, you can press scene to skip the ones you've seen
3. but now fastforwarding brings back vhs bullshit.
I still like them though
in other news...YOU WOULDN'T STEAL.....A CAR????
that pisses me off

DVD Talk Limited Edition
I don't mind trailers at the start, because I love em. BUT I hate how they never include the feature film's trailer anymore, just previews of other films by the studio.

I love trailers. If they put trailers on a DVD, I'll watch them -- the first time I pop the disc in. But I don't want to see a trailer for Hollywood Homicide in 2006.
