Magilla Gorilla looks in bad shape

According to tvshowsondvd.com a reviewer at another website said it looks like WB spent no time in restoration in this upcoming Tuesday release.Didn't they(WB)say that was the reason for no Quick Draw McGraw.Well they blew the Huckleberry Hound release and looks like they got the prints from Boomerang for Magilla Gorilla. For those of you that are fans of limited animation-for the shame.

WB haven't done as good of a job in their animation department as they have done with their classic films vault. Thundercats, Tom and Jerry, Justice League and several other WB animated have been mediocre in different aspects of the release. Thundercats have a very bad transfer and problems wth the audio, Justice League was release first in Fullscreen, then the 2nd season in non-anamorphic widescreen. WB has to revamp their animation dept. staff and bring people from their classics dept.

Yeah, I read that on tvshowsondvd.com and I was disappointed. I was planning on picking this up for my son, but now I'm probably going to hold off.

Not cool.

I'm more pissed about the theme song being removed then anything else. I could deal with shitty footage.

Which, in fairness, they have fixed. If you get a bad disc, you can get a fixed one. Also, stock now reaching stores have the fixed disc, as I found when I bought Season One Volume One a couple of months ago.

Am I the only one that would prefer Birdman or Space Ghost or the Herculoids over Magilla Gorilla.

Now why would you think that?

Justice League was release first in Fullscreen
It was animated in 1:33:1 so it should've been.

I'd like to see some Captain Caveman on DVD, as well as The Heculoids and Space Ghost.
