Thanks for the update all. I checked my order and sure enough, same as the rest of you. I am just going to stick with the previous edition.

Just got my replacement in the mail, and of course, it's another UMD. -rolleyes-

Cancelled, after four contacts.

Anybody know why Buy.com lists this disc as "ships in 2 weeks"? It's odd for a brand new disc. The Buy.com listing erroneously gives the aspect ratio as 1.85:1, but the release date is correct, and it has no picture. Unfortunately Buy.com doesn't use ASIN and Amazon doesn't give the UPC, so I can't directly verify they're really the same DVD.

Everyone who sent the UMD back to Amazon for a refund, be sure to check your refund amount.
I got an email this morning saying they have processed my refund for $16.97. Since I paid $17.97 for it, I sent them an email and they have already replied back saying they've corrected the amount. I then finally picked up this set at Costco today for $18.49. |
Same here - paid Amazon $13.99 for the disc, but they only refunded $12.79 to me.
Not a bad deal for them... get all the orders... ship the wrong item... still make a buck (or more) on each one! |
Amazon really screwed the pooch on this one, didn't they? Yikes.

So much talk about Amazon.com screwing up the distribution of this title.....
I was wondering if there had been anything new on the definitive aspect ratio of this film: Did they get it right or wrong on this release?? |

I could see it if I returned the disc because I no longer wanted it, but they shipped me the wrong item and have elected to not ship the correct one.
That's ridiculous, I'm not sure why Amazon lost their minds with this item. It's like they weren't sure what to do. You should NOT have to pay shipping, in fact you should get free shipping on a future order for your trouble. :editking: |

I previously asked this but wasn't sure if the answer was definitive: Does the CD - "The soundtrack to trailer of the film..." contain 28 tracks? I'm wondering if the CD is in fact the remastered CD with 3 bonus tracks at the end - Arthur's Song, Documentary, Run Away Song.

I don't know enough about the different versions to give you any sort of comparison, but the CD has 24 tracks. The final track has the knights approaching Castle Argghhh and being taunted by the French a second time and "well, that's about it really... the film ends mainly visually."
