I dunno, this is a pointless release

It's half a step in the right direction, IMO. I think having a single disc "sampler" of a series is a great idea. Simply taking the first disc of the first season is not.

A "best of" season by season is actually a good idea for The Brady Bunch, especially as all of its seasons have been released. But just re-releasing the first disc is lazy and really highlights the lack of imagination and interest from Paramount towards its releases.

Well, they should go the other route as well and make the entire series available in one shot right off the bat. I'd like to go that route instead of waiting years to complete a series.

Theyre also doing this with the first disc of C.S.I. Season 1. It's a shame in my opinion. Especially since they're re-releasing full framed gar-ba-ge.

I wonder how many people are going to confuse this and think they are getting a full season? It should include a coupon for the Full Season, a la FOX's starter sets.

Instead of wasting their time with this, I wish they would put out A Very Brady Christmas and The Brady Brides & The Bradys series.

Agreed. And even though Paramount doesn't own the rights...how about Rhino releasing some more episodes of the Variety Hour?
