I'd definitely be into that. LOVE this show.

They should definitely include uncensored stuff and outtakes. That would be SWEET.

This is nice, but I would really be happy if we could get the original British show. The US version was pretty funny at first, but then it turned into the Wayne Brady sing-a-long show.

Bring on both shows--anyone know if Comedy Central/Paramount has home video distrib. rights on the original? I'd be curious to know who, if anyone, does. Surely the release of the US version would be a good impetus for the release of the Brit version as well.

The new, safe US version is not all that funny. Oncein a while it is, but not that often.

The British version is hilarious, however. They can get away with more stuff. I'd get the British version for sure.

Well, as was previously mentioned, hopefully the release of the US version will spawn the release of the UK version. But if it does well, who knows!

This is great news! Unedited is the way to go with this. I have yet to see the UK version, but I LMAO at the US version, so cheers to both!

"Unedited" would be a whole different kettle of fish, given how these shows were made (long days of taping from which several shows could be fabricated).

I would love to see some of those raw tapings. They must have thousands of hours of it.

great news-I'm a fan of both the US & UK versions, so here's hoping we'll see the UK version soon enough.

I'm in... if it's truly unedited/uncensored.

Let's hope they do a first season set rather than a random assortoment (or compilation).

If they do intend to test the waters with a "best of" disc, then they should put that "Best of Whose Line" special hour-long episode on there, as that episode, apart from having clips of the episodes, also had some unseen moments that never appeared in any episode.

I'd be all for the British version, too, but I would be more inclined to believe an R2/PAL release for that one. If it does get a US release, whoever gets the rights would be better off starting with a later season (like season 5). Season 1 is the worst of the lot and John Sessions being in every episode could kill sales of any future (and funnier) sets. Probably the safest best (if they're trying to reach mainstream America) would be to release the 10 UK seasons in reverse order.

It's about time. Now all we need is the British series released.

I guess this is better than nothing. I'll buy it, because it will be entertaining in and of itself and in order to help build momentum for a more complete release.

I've always detested the drew carey version because unlike the clive anderson series, the american series never really had any variety of performers and drew carey never had any imagination when giving out the points.

Plus there is a distinct lack of Tony Slattery.

Anyone have any luck finding the Uncensored version? I tried 2 Best Buys and a Circuit City today, and all I found were the regular versions.

Guess I may just have to order it online.

My Uncensored S1 shipped last week from DVDPlanet, so it does exist. I wouldn't be surprised if the "big box" B&Ms decided to carry the "family-friendly" version to sell it to more parents.

Yep. Found it at my Local Wal-Mart. Didn’t even see the regular version there. Go figure.

After opening, I noticed that only disc 2 has the “uncensored” banner on it. I am guessing disc one is the same for both sets. Can anyone else conform this?

Yeah, I just got mine from Wal-Mart and disc 2 is the only way to say uncensored also. I think only the special features are uncensored, that's what the sticker on the box said.

I'm curious as to why it says 110 minutes on the back, if it's 10 full length episodes that's more like 220 minutes or something like that.
