I started at S1 because the completist in me forced me to.
I gave up caring by S3 or S4. Eventually I will get the rest of what's out there, but I am just not in the rush I once was too.

S2. S2 is when the show "went good".

I only own my favorite season, which is Season 4. I really don't plan on buying any others.

I think I own 1-4, and I've stopped buying them now. There are going to be too many, and while I like the show...I enjoy other shows more.

Mrs. Danger found S1 on the path when she was taking pictures of sand and cactus on the West Mesa. True story.

S1.
Have them all up to Homer's Head, but haven't watched it yet. And because I'm at least a season behind in viewing, I'm not in a real hurry to get caught up with the more recent releases.

Season 1 is great, but the animation is more primitive and the characters (aside from Bart) hadn't been fully developed yet. In retrospect it doesn't compare as well to the years that followed.
So far there are 3 voters who started with season 2 and I have to wonder if this is why they skipped the first season and were they old enough back then to remember what an overnight sensation the Simpsons were?

I picked up 3-5 at the recent Sam's Club deal.. I'm in no hurry to go for the others but I would like Season 2 at least for the Lisa's Substitute episode.
