Miami Vice Seasons 1 & 2 being released again as a box set?
I checked Amazon.com and they are selling seasons 1 and 2 as a box set which will be released on July 25 when the movie comes out.
I don't get this.
Will the discs be flippers like season 1?
Will they improve the film transfers on the dvds?
When will season 3 be released?
I hope they release it when the Miami Vice movie comes to DVD later this year.
Is there a music rights issue for season 3 or were the sales figures for season 2 DVD sales not that impressive and Universal decided to scrap it?

Not sure what is going here exactly.
I suspect it is just a repackaging of the current seasons but this new one is significantly cheaper ($50 -- compared to $44 for each of the current season box sets).
