So does this mean the movie is split across 2 discs with one disc of extras? Very nice. Also, your link goes nowhere.

Also Yojimbo was the other title along with Seven Samurai that was told of a re-release but no word of that yet.

I'd really like to have this but I'm not really up for spending another 40 bucks on this movie!

I am considering getting this in DDD's 20% off sale next month.

Can anyone who has picked this up (and watched it) comment on the windowboxing? I've read the reviews on dvdbeaver, but I'm curious to know how others feel about the (somewhat contrversial) windowboxing issue, and how it plays on this release.

Thanks.

depends on the overscan on your system, most likely it wontbe an issue since the overscan will cut off the windowboxed outlines.

Do you mean the top & bottom outlines or the sides as well?

Can anyone comment on the new subtitles translation? Better, worse, or not much difference?

I don't know what the last release was like with subtitles, but this one is fine. It's a GREAT set.
